Best Cameras and Accessories for your Travel

Here's a Video that will Guide you on Choosing the Right Camera

Cameras were built to capture memories, special moments, happenings, events, in a person's life. It is for this reason that cameras are very important to have when you travel. I have been to so many places, different cities and countries in the world, and I did not have a camera, lost a camera, the camera was destroyed, and I did not have anything to use. When I went to China, for some weird reason, all my cameras ran out of battery. Cameras, video cameras, digital cameras, capture all our travel activities. Without cameras to record the beautiful places where you did memorable things, is the No. 1 mortal travel sin, in my opinion. Yet, I have done it, and I am sure, some of you have. It is very important, therefore to have the best camera that your money can buy when you are traveling.

The Age of Cell Phones

We are so fortunate that in this age of cell phones, some people do not bring any regular cameras anymore. Wherever I travel to, I have seen people taking pictures at places and of things with the ordinary cell phones. Now you don't have to look like a tourist (with a big camera around your neck for "tourist identification"). You can see people taking pictures and you will not know that they are tourists - or not! So, unless you are a real professional photographer, no need to take that bulky and expensive cameras when you travel. It saves you the worries, and with a good cell phone, you can save money by not buying an expensive camera - unless you really want. What I am saying is, now, those regular cameras are no longer a necessity. Good cell phones usually come with video cameras, and they do a good job in recording your scenic places, events, and/or happenings in your life.

What are the best cameras? The choices are plenty. You can purchase an inexpensive camera - and, if you are a professional and/or expert in using cameras, you can purchase a camera that professionals use. A lot of my friends have professional cameras that they carry with them when they travel. I am not a pro camera user - so I do not own one. I like carrying a small digital camera (I do own at least 5 of them). I do not like heavy and bulky cameras - no matter how good they are in taking pictures. But, of course, if that does not bother you - can may go ahead and bring whatever you want to bring.

I own two video cameras: a Mino Flip - and a hand-held JVC. I love both of them - for different purposes. My Mino Flip Camera has limitations of use (can only record one full hour of activity) - while my JVC can record up to 10 hours - depending on what kind of memory card I put in there.
